Dr. Daniel J. Zimmerman, DMD, graduated cum laude from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY, in May 2016, where he received his B.S. in biology with a minor in chemistry. While at St. John Fisher College, he was inducted into the Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honor Society and conducted multi-year research in aquatic microbiology as part of a National Geographic grant.
After college, Dr. Zimmerman obtained his DMD from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated magna cum laude in May 2020. While at Boston University, Dr. Zimmerman gained certification in InvisalignTM, as well as Neuromodulators, Soft Tissue Fillers, and Deoxycholic Acid through Facial Anatomy for Comprehensive Esthetic Seminars.
In 2021, Dr. Zimmerman completed a one-year General Practice Residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center in Syracuse, NY. At St. Josephs, he had the opportunity to work in a hospital-based clinic where he provided emergency dental treatment and completed rotations in surgery, anesthesiology, and family practice.
Dr. Zimmerman has a passion for comprehensive dentistry and offers the following services: simple and surgical extractions, direct restorations (fillings), crowns and bridges, veneers, dentures, anterior/premolar root canal, and pediatric dentistry.
In his spare time, Dr. Zimmerman enjoys cooking, traveling, and cheering on the Syracuse Orange and Buffalo Bills.
